Executive MBA

Innovative Curriculum

The Executive MBA program is built on the foundation of a consortium: a deep partnership between the BSU College of Business and area organizations. By tapping the collective resources of both, this consortium model provides an exclusive opportunity to prepare participants for greater responsibility in their organizations.

At their discretion, partner companies team with faculty in teaching areas of particular expertise and, in return, their EMBA employee participants are exposed to best practices from other participating organizations. Some class sessions are held directly at partner sites to give hands-on understanding. The consortium format is unique in the United States. No other EMBA program is designed around the needs of local organizations to develop the next generation of business leaders for that locale.

Consortium members have included:

Albertson’s, Inc. Hewlett-Packard
IDACORP, Inc. Idaho Department of Health and Welfare
J. R. Simplot Company Micron Technology
Smoky Mountain Pizza & Pasta Woodgrain Millwork
Idaho National Laboratory
